Investor Access / View On Behalf Of (VOBO)

This guide details the information available to the Investor once Web Access has been created.

The same information in an identical format is also available under the Adviser View through View On Behalf Of (VOBO).

Investor Web Access

Getting Started 

Investors can be given read-only access to view information on their Portfolios through the Portal.

Once Web Access has been created (See Investor Web Access guide) the Investor can now access the Portal using their details via the link provided.

Adviser access to view this information is through the View On Behalf Of option (VOBO) from the selected Investor’s Global View screen.

The information accessed through VOBO mirrors exactly the content and view that the Investor will see through their Web Access.

On accessing the Portal you will be taken to the Dashboard screen below.

For Users with no linked Investor or Account details (e.g. Admin staff) the Dashboard will show as below.

Now select the Main Menu icon at the top of the screen.

From the ribbon shown select the Investors menu.

Then either Dashboard/Manage or Investor Accounts.

Dashboard/Manage allows you to search for any Investor on the Portal whether they have any in-force Accounts or not. Selecting the Investor will take you to their Global Overview.

Investor Accounts allows you to search for an individual Account. The Account must be in-force to be visible here. Select the Globe button on the right to access the Investor’s Global Overview.

Adviser access to view the read-only information the Investor sees is through the View On Behalf Of option (VOBO) from the selected Investor’s Global Overview screen.

The information accessed through VOBO mirrors exactly the content and view that the Investor will see through their Web Access.

Client Portal / VOBO Menus

Overview

On accessing the Portal, the Investor will land on the Overview screen below. This provides a summary of investments held with options to access further combined or portfolio specific information.

Selecting the Menu option allows access to further combined and account specific details as shown.

Documents

Documents contains all regulatory and transactional documentation held for the Investor, with options to filter by Category and/or Account.

Documents are date and time stamped and listed in date order from the most recent. When a document is opened by the Investor, a further Read date and time stamp will be added, allowing the Adviser to understand levels of Client engagement.

Regulatory Documentation

Other than that produced for Applications and any Amendments, the documentation below will also be captured on this screen, allowing visibility to the Investor through their own read-only web access and to the Adviser through View On Behalf Of or via the Documents tab on the Investor Global View screen.

These are typically prepared in the month following each quarter end.

Annual Costs and Charges Disclosure

Calendar Annually (Jan – Dec)

These are typically prepared in the month following quarter one end.

Annual CGT and CTC Reports (Wrapper appropriate)

Annual

These are typically prepared in the month following half year.

Contract Lists

As appropriate

When relevant trades.

Email notifications will be sent to both the Investor and Adviser when regulatory documents are produced and auto populated on the Portal.

My Details

My Details shows the Investor details held with Adviser contact details displayed for any corrections/updates.

The Investor can also select individual Accounts to view specific Portfolio information.

Accounts - Performance

Performance figures can be viewed as per the Investors selected date range.

Accounts - Details

Details lists all Regular Payments In and Out, Income and Portfolio information for the Account.

Accounts – Valuation

Valuation provides a breakdown of the current holdings, Models / Instruments selected and latest Performance

%age.

Accounts - Statement

Statement details the Opening and Closing balance for the period and details of Investments and Withdrawals during this time.

Previous Statements can be accessed through the Choose a Statement option and PDF’s of the chosen Statement are available here.

Transactions

Transactions lists details of all Transactions for the chosen Account in date order. The Investor can select the desired period by amending the Start / End Date and clicking on Show Transactions.
