DFM Bespoke Portfolio Services (BPS)

SS&C Hubwise can support DFMs offering BPS (Bespoke Portfolio Services) on Platform.


We enable the DFM to run the wrapper in an entirely un-automated and bespoke manner, by turning off our automated straight through processes (STPs) and supressing our smart algorithms.


The DFM is able to see the investor record via our VOBO (View on Behalf of) functionality- this includes performance, valuation breakdown screens, statements and transactions.


The DFM should only be able to see the  wrappers/accounts which they are mandated to manage.  Therefore, importantly, if the investor has another wrapper that is invested elsewhere- then that wrapper should be opened in a new Investor Record for that client.  


For Example:

An investor may have an Offshore Bond, an AIM product, and a cherished holding- all managed by the BPS DFM.  They may also have an ISA that is invested in a different DFMs MPS solution- this wrapper must not be in the same Investor Record.


Your investor will therefore need to instances of Web Access to see all their accounts.  You can set this up using the Web Access option in the Main Menu.  Email addresses can be the same, and you will need to select a different Username for the second Web Access instance.
