Power of Attorney (POA) Adding & Viewing on the Portal

Power of Attorney details

Power of Attorney information should normally be added as applicable when opening a wrapper as shown in the following process.

If the details cannot be input at this stage and need to be added later then a Freshdesk ticket will be required. Freshdesk should also be used to notify if the information requires updating at a later point.

On Step 1 the Power of Attorney Required box should be checked.

An additional Step will now be created in the application journey where the relevant details can be input. This is shown as Step 8 for the example below

Additional Power of Attorney’s can be added as appropriate by selecting Add another Person in the bottom right of the screen then adding further details.

Once details are input on the Portal, the POA information can be accessed by selecting the Account icon for the chosen wrapper from the Global View screen.

Details will be visible in the Power of Attorney section as shown below.

Uploading the Power of Attorney document to the Portal

A certified Power of Attorney document is acceptable and this can be uploaded into the Portal in the Investor Documents area as detailed below.

The full document is required including address details and contact numbers or email addresses. We do not require supporting identification documents.

First, access the Investor Documents tab from the Investor’s Global View screen.

Then select the Upload Document icon.

Check the ‘Make this visible to the Investor’ box as appropriate then click on Add file.

Click on Browse to locate and select the saved document.

Then select the Category ‘Uploaded Document’ and the required Account ID.

Clicking on Upload will now add the Power of Attorney document to the Portal where it will be available to view in the Investor’s Document Archive.
