Portal generated documents- Email Notifications

Regulatory, portal generated documents can be sent to the investor via three options:


This first option is our default and is the preferred route for an Online Platform:


1) Email Notification - the investor's email details are added to the investor details screen, they then receive an email to the address that has been keyed into the portal, inviting them to view their documents 


2) Email Notification- via the IFA firm, the IFA firm email details are added to the investor details screen. The IFA firm are then responsible for the communication to the investor


3) Paper documents- where "Email Notifications" is not ticked and an email address is not provided, all documents will be sent to the investor by post. Documents are mailed to the investor's address that has been keyed into the portal. This incurs a £20 per year per wrapper + VAT fee- typically charged to the end investor, but can be picked up by the IFA firm- via a Freshdesk ticket instruction
