Modified on Mon, 20 Oct at 8:37 AM

We understand how important it is to have the right documents for a clients tax return.

At SS&C Hubwise, Consolidated Tax Certificates (CTCs), also known as Consolidated Tax Vouchers (CTVs) are only issued for GIA (General Investment Accounts). These are provided to help clients complete their self-assessment tax return.

Please note that Consolidated Tax Certificates are not available for SIPP accounts.

For more information on Consolidated Tax Vouchers/Tax Packs for GIAs please refer to; Helpdesk : Hubwise Customer Services

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do SIPP providers issue Consolidated Tax Certificates?

No, SIPP providers do not typically issue consolidated tax certificates for clients.

Why are Consolidated Tax Certificates not issued?

  1. Income within a SIPP (e.g. dividends, interest) is generally not subject to further UK income tax, so there's no requirement for a consolidated tax certificate.
  2. Details of contributions and transfers received into the SIPP are included in the annual SIPP statement, which is issued by 30th April each year.
  3. Any income drawn from the SIPP is taxed via PAYE.
