CGT and CTC document distribution - 6/8/21

Dear Client,

Late last night and during today,  we are issuing tax packs which comprise Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Consolidated Tax Certificates (CTCs).  These are applicable for investors that have GIA accounts and refer to the tax year 2020/21.  

Investors will be notified today that these packs are available and can be viewed in the document area of their Web Access.  They are also available in “Investor Documents” in the Adviser portal.  For those electing to receive in paper form, the documents will be received by post early next week. 

We would normally aim to have these issued by the end of June however, we found that changes were needed principally in the area of reclassification of dividends/interest which has caused this delay.   These issues have been addressed and will not arise in subsequent years.  Apologies for the delay and the inconvenience caused.
