We receive our pricing data from our vendor, Morning Star, who provide us with the most up to date information that they have. Delays in prices can be due to Morning Star waiting on data from the Fund Managers. If Fund Managers do not provide the data to Morning Star before their cut-off, the prices cannot get included in the feed we receive, which is why you may notice a more recent price is available online where a Fund Manager has responded later. up-to-date
This is not something we can prevent because the receipt of the price file on our side triggers the overnight processing and cannot be delayed without impacting trades. Consequently, any manual updates would be too late to update any of the MI you receive or portal valuations because these are all built during that overnight program.
We complete daily checks to ensure all instruments have been priced as expected or have sufficient reason for delay and pick up any exceptions directly with Morning Star. We will not be updating prices manually outside of this process.
