Adding beneficiary:
This can be done by adding beneficiaries on the portal in step 8 of the SIPP application process- multiple beneficiaries can be
captured. However, only one scenario can be accommodated - the one in place at the
current time e.g. 50% to each child.
More complex, conditional scenarios cannot be captured - e.g. the system could not store
the following: ‘100% to my spouse, or if my spouse has predeceased me, to be split equally
between my two children’. In this case, we would ask you to only add the situation as it
presently stands. In the above example, you would add the spouse as 100% beneficiary,
and if the spouse predeceased the client you would request we update the beneficiaries to
50% each to the two children.
If you need to amend the beneficiaries at any point, please raise a Freshdesk ticket to us
and we will do this.
Amending beneficiary:
Once you have located the client on the portal, please select the “All Account Actions” cog then “Maintain Beneficiaries”.
From here you will be able to make any amounts to the Name, address, and allocation percentage.
