This Article describes the Perform Raise function, which is found in the All-Account Actions (double cog icon) dropdown menu in each open Account:

Perform Raise enables you to instruct a proportional Sell within an Account, without initiating a Rebalance.
If you are using Perform Raise to realise some cash which is to be used for a specific Withdrawal request (a pending house purchase for example) or a Bed and SIPP instruction. You should also instruct a Ring Fence to protect the cash until it is needed.
Important Notes:
You do not need to use Perform Raise alongside these types of Withdrawal:
Drawdown instruction – BCE requests
as these instructions will trigger auto-divestment appropriately at the right time.
Bed & ISA (GIA to ISA internal transfer) is also an automated journey (see separate Bed & ISA process guide Helpdesk : Hubwise Customer Services)
Specific, single line instrument trades are instructed via Manage Upload and/or a Freshdesk Ticket.
Key in the amount you wish to Raise (Sell) out of Investment:

Click I Confirm:

You will then receive a final ‘Account Raise Instruction Successful’ screen where you can click OK,
OR a screen which explains why the action can not be completed, for example where there are open orders taking place, in which case you will need to wait, and Perform Raise once those have completed.
