Notification of S&V Updates - 29th October 2021

Dear Client,

We are pleased to advise you that we have added new features and improved existing elements of the quarterly Statement and Valuations that we produce. Following Partner feedback received we will be including the following improvements for the next quarter Q3 packs (and Q4 as noted):

1. The layout and order of the S&Vs has been altered. The breakdown of the portfolio and fee information has been moved to the start of the pack, followed by the asset allocation. The income summary will also sit with the cash statement. This improves the presentation of the report, making it clearer and easier to understand. 

2. We are making benchmark comparisons available for performance. We are able to compare the performance of a portfolio against a benchmark where the relevant data is supplied to us. This will provide a clear visual representation of the performance of a portfolio against the set benchmark.  Benchmarks do need to be defined, and this may be dependent upon DFMs providing such details.  We will liaise with each partner firm to see if such information can be facilitated.   

3. We will include a performance figure which provides additional information to the end client This means that if benchmark data is not provided we will still be able to reflect the performance of a portfolio and this will form part of an improved portfolio summary at the forefront of the S&V.   The performance figure will be provided for Q4 statements.

4. PTM Levy and RSP charge values will be included where applicable.  The details are reported for each relevant transaction.
