Dear Client,
As part of our service upgrade, we are making changes to how dividends are posted and appear in the client ledger. Until now, separate accounting entries are presented for group 1, group 2 and equalisation. Feedback from Partner Firms has consistently stated that this can be confusing to investors and IFA employees.
From Monday 7th December, these three postings will be consolidated into one with the reference “dividend”. This will apply to all dividend postings, including historic postings when viewing transaction history. The underlying specific reporting involving book cost adjustments and representation on Consolidated Tax Certificates (CTC) remain unchanged.
