Dear Client,

We are pleased to be delivering our next web release on 7 December 2021.

There are no further software changes planned until January 2022.

The main deliverable addresses the collection of Employer contributions (ER DDs) directly to Hubwise, rather than via Hartley.

Improvements to Phased Investments are also included.

New Features

Collection of Employer Direct Debits (ER DDs) for the Hubwise Hartley SIPP directly to Hubwise

To simplify the procedure:

Existing ER DDs will be collected directly by Hubwise from 1st February 2022

New ER DDs will be collected directly by Hubwise from 1st January 2022.

Separate communications have already been sent on 23 and 30 November 2021, and copies are in the Knowledge Base section of Freshdesk.  Please review and pass on this information to all relevant users of the Portal.  IMPORTANT: Actions are required from our IFA Partner Firms.

This release addresses amendments to the documentation outputs required to support this change in the ‘new application’ and ‘add/amend contributions’ journeys, namely the provision of the relevant DD mandates.

It also enables the facility for IFA firms to upload the signed (Electronic or wet signature) DD mandates to the Investor Documents area in the Portal,  which will then be automatically transmitted to Hartley Pensions.

Additionally, the investment cycle for ER DDs will be aligned to the current EE DDs (Employee Direct Debits) process,  and will be invested (subject to ‘buying power’ checks) at the end of day.

Phased Investments

We now have the ability to manage phased investments via the Portal.

A new “All Account Actions” menu item of ‘Manage Phased Investment’ will appear for any accounts that have an active phased investment instruction.  This will avoid the need to raise freshdesk tickets.

Minor Improvements

Accounts Page

The crystallisation value for transfers will now be displayed on the Account Details page.

Direct Debit cancellation for the “Hubwise SIPP” & “Hubwise PP” (provided by IM / Intelligent Money)

Cancelling a DD via the Adviser Portal now notifies IM automatically.

Minor Fixes

Account with no model

We have corrected a minor system issue which allowed account applications to progress (but not submit) without a model being selected.

Accounts Page

The web page will no longer be blank if a data error is identified.  All information, with the exception of the missing details, will be presented.

Transfer Reporting

We are also enhancing the method through which status changes of pension transfers are reported from Origo.  This will be available from next week.

Should you have any questions then please contact the Customer Services Team via your Freshdesk Account.

Kind regards

Douglas Boyce
